All fund-raising organisations which were registered in terms of sections 4, 5, or 6 of the fund-raising act, act no. 107 of 1978, are automatically registered as a Non-profit Organisation with the Directorate for Non-profit Organisations. In order to retain their registration with the Directorate, all these fund-raising organisations must apply for registration with the Directorate on/or before 31 august 2000.
